Joint Project for Sunday School Materials is a not-for-profit organization begun in 1993 to create and publish Christian Sunday School and Bible Study materials for use in Africa. We call ourselves Joint Project because we come from different denominational backgrounds, all with a common vision and purpose: to teach others about Christ so that His Body will be strengthened. As a staff, we come from several different nationalities and churches, and our materials currently serve over ten denominations in the country. Although the original intent of Joint Project was to produce materials for Nigeria, our vision is much broader than our country. We desire to reach out to the world in small steps, to God’s glory, wherever our materials are needed and useful. |

Joint Project for Sunday School Materials (Joint Project or JPFSSM) is a joint venture of several evangelical church denominations and groups working together within Nigeria. Our aim is to prepare and publish Bible-based teaching materials for Sunday School classes and Bible Study groups within the churches. Joint Project has been providing Sunday School and Bible Study materials in Nigeria for about 15 years for over ten denominations. We produce materials for adults, youth, and children (Primary and Younger Children). The lessons are written by Nigerians, then edited by our Joint Project staff and published primarily in English and Hausa. Our books are being used in Nigeria and Liberia and are making their way into the rest of Africa and even into Asia. |
